Power Pack #4 is a Marvel Comics issue published in October 1984. The title of the main story is “Rescue!
The main plot of the issue is the climactic continuation of the team’s initial battle with the alien invaders, the Snarks, and the attempt to save their captured parents and one of their own:
- The Power Pack Under Siege: The youngest Power sibling, Jack Power (Mass Master), is the only one remaining free after the Snarks successfully tracked and captured his parents, his brother Alex (Gee), and his sisters Julie (Lightspeed) and Katie (Energizer).
- Jack’s Worth: The story highlights Jack’s feelings of uselessness, as his power to shrink or become a gaseous cloud seems less overtly powerful than his siblings’ abilities. He’s left alone but has to overcome his self-doubt.
