Power Pack #2 is a Marvel Comics issue published in September 1984. The title of the main story is “Butter Fingers”
Following their origin story in Issue #1, the Power children are still grappling with their new powers, the disappearance of their parents, and the threat of the alien Snarks.
- Costume Time: The issue begins with the siblings realizing that their regular clothes are constantly being destroyed by their uncontrolled powers (Katie’s energy blasts, Alex’s gravity manipulation, etc.). Their sentient Kymellian starship, Smartship Friday, designs their iconic colorful costumes which are made of unstable molecules, allowing them to withstand the use of their powers. This is the issue where the Power Pack acquires their official superhero outfits.
