Grendel #19, published by Comico in May 1988, is the final issue of the two-part story “Devil Eyes.” This issue serves as the conclusion to the “untold tales” interlude before the series jumps forward in time and radically redefines the Grendel concept.
This issue, like its predecessor, is framed as a story being recounted by the now-retired Captain Wiggins, who is looking back on the Hunter Rose era he never personally witnessed.
