📖 Synopsis

The main plot of this issue focuses heavily on the identity of the villain who stole years from the heroes’ lives and the complicated re-entry of Wally West into a world where no one remembers him.

  • The Aftermath of Kadabra: The issue picks up after the Titans’ battle with their younger doppelgängers created by the villain Abra Kadabra. Kadabra is still a major threat, and in this issue, he reveals to Wally that he was responsible for Wally’s disappearance into the Speed Force, which erased Wally’s history from the New 52 timeline.

  • The Linda Park Crisis: A major emotional subplot unfolds as Wally attempts to reconnect with his pre-Flashpoint wife, Linda Park, who is now a reporter and, in this timeline, has no memory of him or their life together. Wally struggles to balance the danger of the speed force that he is now attracting with his desperate need to win back the love of his life.

  • The Rebirth Mystery Continues: The dialogue hints at a larger, darker force than Kadabra, with the villain suggesting that he was only a tool or that the erasure of the timeline was so profound that even his own spell was affected. This continues to tease the presence of the cosmic entity (later revealed to be Doctor Manhattan from Watchmen) behind the lost years.

  • Bumblebee Kidnapping: The issue ends on a cliffhanger where the team learns that another original member of their group, Karen Beecher-Duncan (Bumblebee), has been kidnapped, forcing the Titans to refocus their efforts on a new, more immediate threat.
