The story is set in a timeline where Marvel characters like the X-Men, Fantastic Four, Spider-Man, and Doctor Strange exist four centuries earlier than they should. This sudden emergence of “strange” powered people—often called “Witchbreed”—is accompanied by chaotic, unnatural weather phenomena across Europe, leading many to fear the Apocalypse.
