📖 Synopsis: Meet the Nightmare Captain
The story begins immediately after the horrifying cliffhanger of the first issue, where an evil, Black Adam-esque version of Billy Batson (The Nightmare Captain) was using the power of Shazam to strike down and incinerate the entire Shazamily.

Mary Takes Control: Instead of succumbing to the terror, Mary Marvel (the only one who still has her powers) uses her intellect to realize she is in the Nightmare Realm. She understands that by accepting the dream logic, she can exert some control. This quickly shifts the book’s tone from pure horror to a vibrant, action-packed rescue mission.
