The premise is existential: The Norse Myths tell of mighty Gods, but now, Asgard is not real, and never was. All memory of the gods and the Ten Realms has been severed from Midgard. Humanity believes their heroes and deities were nothing more than stories.
The Story Begins with Sigurd Jarlson. A man with no memory, no powers, and no lineage wakes up in New York City with a mysterious connection to his Scandinavian past and an unexplained, powerful hammer in his possession.
This Mortal Thor must now navigate the gritty, day-to-day challenges of being a working-class man in the city. When his strong moral compass and principles clash with the modern-day greed and corruption—specifically, a conflict with the villainous Roxxon Corporation—he is forced to act.
This conflict will mark the beginning of his journey to reclaim what was lost and determine the true nature of his identity, forcing him to fight for justice with nothing but his own conviction and the mighty hammer in his hand.
